The Museum Island in Berlin

The Museum Island is a museum complex located in the northern part of Spree Island in the historic heart of Berlin. It is one of the most visited sights in Germany's capital and is considered one of Europe's most important museum sites. Built between 1830 and 1930 by order of the Prussian kings, the Museum Island was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. The complex comprises five museums: the Altes Museum, the Neues Museum, the Alte Nationalgalerie, the Bode Museum, and the Pergamonmuseum.

James Simon Park

James Simon Park is located in Berlin's Mitte district and is named after the Berlin entrepreneur James Simon. It is a protected green area in a famous nightlife and strolling district. The park is bordered to the north by arches of the city railroad, to the east by Burgstrasse, and the southwest by the Spree River. It was redesigned in the 2000s and named after James Simon during a naming ceremony in 2007.

The Berlin Cathedral

The Berlin Cathedral, also known as the Evangelical Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church, is a monumental German Evangelical church and dynastic tomb on Museum Island in central Berlin. The present collegiate church was built from 1894 to 1905 by order of German Emperor William II in Renaissance and Baroque revival styles. It is the largest Protestant church in Germany and one of Europe's most critical dynastic tombs. In addition to church services, the cathedral is used for state ceremonies, concerts, and other events.
