Dean Village

One of those hidden gems is the dean village, an oasis of calm in the city. The Dean Village is a tranquil green oasis on the water of Leith, only five minutes walk from princess street. We arrived at the dim village, which dates back to the 12th century and was once the home of 11 meals that supported Edinburgh until the 19th century worth a visit to come and take pictures and have a lovely walk in front of the river.

Victoria Street

Located in the heart of the city, we get to victoria street, one of the most beautiful and charming areas of the town with the painted fronts of shops and massive buildings made of greystone and with fascinating facts that make this area one of the most photographed in all the city guys so we arrived just now to victoria street located in the old town. Hence, it's worth a visit because this little street here is said jk rowling got inspired by the famous diagon alley in the renowned series of films harry potter, so if you are a fun movie of harry potter this is heavy I look here is worth it. There are a lot of shops that contain harry potter souvenirs and articles. As you can see, there are a lot of harry potter souvenir shops here, so if you are a true fan of harry potter, make sure you visit the stores on victoria street inspired by Diagon Alley.

Elephant House Cafe

We get to one of Scotland's most iconic cafes just a short walk from here. We are now in the elephant house cafe, one of the most popular cafes in Edinburgh and the world, as this is where jk rowling used to come and write books. It is said that she took the inspiration to write harry potter; here you can see the pictures on the walls, even postcards that you can buy with jk rowling writing in here with eating some brownie and drinking some coffee. It's adorable, to be honest, it's usually hectic, but we managed to get in here.

Haunted Underground Vaults Graveyard Tour

An exciting tour you can take when visiting Edinburgh is the haunted underground vaults graveyard tour, which will spook you on a guided tour of the most haunted sites in Edinburgh. Visit the graveyard of Greyfriars Yard to learn the legend of Greyfriars. Bobby Bobby was the name of a Skye terrier who belonged to john gray, a night watchman for the Edinburgh police. They were inseparable; however, in 1858, john gray died, and after this moment, Bobby never separated from his master's grave, making him one of the most iconic characters in Edinburgh Bobby was buried just inside the gate of the Greyfriars graveyard, not far from john's gray grave it is essential to note that these graveyards also serve as an inspiration to jk rowling when naming some of her characters in harry potter like, for example, professor McGonagall or tom riddle or should I say lord Voldemort the tour has a price of 18 pounds per person. It lasts 1 hour and a half.

Three Bridges Cruise

Another exciting tour when visiting Edinburgh is the first of fourth, a 90-minute three-bridge cruise with views of the three bridges, including the UNESCO world heritage fourth bridge kong island and the medieval Abbey. During your cruise, you will also have incredible views of the Edinburgh skyline; during the tour, you will find plenty of opportunities to both see and photograph a wide variety of marine wildlife, including seabirds and seals.

Princess Street Gardens

Another fantastic thing you can do when coming to Edinburgh has enjoyed the beautiful views of Edinburgh Castle from the princess street gardens. This is a tremendous park dating back to the 1820s, very well maintained with many places to sit. You can have a charming walk around and enjoy the nice weather. You can even have a pint outside and have some food if you wish such a lovely option.
