After an eight-and-a-half-hour flight from Orlando, Florida, and a cab ride from the airport to the Dawson Hotel, we are officially in Dublin. I am exhausted from that flight, but we will go to a pub or the Guinness Storehouse. We explore Grafton Street and visit a pub called The Bank. We also take a walk in Stephen's Green, the central park of Dublin. We try our first real Guinness and enjoy the local atmosphere. We explore the North Side of Dublin, which is more affordable, and find a vintage club cocktail speakeasy. We want the sunset and dance the night away.
The next day, we visited Trinity College to see the Book of Kells and tour the Guinness Storehouse. We are amazed by the endless floors and the Sky Bar with a view of the whole city. Dublin is a multicultural city with a melting pot of cultures. We say goodbye to Dublin and head to Galway, where we are greeted with a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon. We explore the village and enjoy some traditional Irish music. The next day, we go horseback riding on the Burren Trail and then visit the Cliffs of Moher.
Being in nature can help us become more present and mindful. Taking off your shoes and walking on the sand, rocks, and water can be grounding and cathartic. The wilderness has a way of making us feel healthy and alive.
Visiting the Cliffs of Moher offers incredible views and the opportunity to hike along the ridge. The cliffs are a beautiful sight to see.
Meeting friendly dogs like Holly and Cookie can bring joy and love into our lives. Dogs can be like family, and it's hard to imagine giving them away.
Exploring small towns like Adare and Castleisland can be a fun and exciting experience. There are always hidden gems to discover.
Staying in a castle hotel like Ballyseede Castle in Kerry can make you feel like you're in a fairytale. The courtyard and surroundings are beautiful and romantic.
Dingle is another charming town, and Conor's Pass offers breathtaking views. Falconry can be an exciting and unique activity to try.
Overall, taking the time to appreciate nature, animals, and beauty can bring us joy and a sense of peace.
