If you're planning a trip to Thailand and want to visit the most beautiful beaches in the country, this blog post is for you. My name is Paddy Doyle, and I recently traveled to every province in Thailand, exploring dozens of stunning beaches. I've compiled a list of the top 10 beaches in Thailand, and in this blog post, I'll share some information about each one. This is part of a series of posts highlighting Thailand's best: provinces, beaches, islands, foods, and temples. You can find links to all of these posts in the description below.
Yanoi Beach, Phuket
Located in southern Phuket, Yanoi Beach is known for its beautiful rock formation that splits the beach in half. It offers shelter from the wind, making it an excellent spot for swimming and snorkeling. You can also rent a paddleboard or kayak to explore the nearby island, offering some of Phuket's best snorkeling.
Riley Beach, Krabi
Riley Beach is a unique beach that feels like an island because it can only be accessed by boat. The limestone cliffs surrounding the beach make it a stunning sight. You can enjoy kayaking, take a glass-bottom tour to learn about jellyfish and swim with plankton. You'll find the famous Penis Cave and another beautiful beach on the other side of the cliffs.
Bang Bao, Koh Kood
Bang Bao is a picturesque beach on the island of Koh Kood. It is known for its wooden piers, where local kids go fishing. The beach offers a peaceful and beautiful sunset view. Other fantastic beaches along the coast of Koh Kood are worth exploring.
Pearl Beach, Koh Mook
Pearl Beach in Koh Mook offers a spearhead shape, making it a unique and beautiful spot. From the tip of the beach, you can capture amazing photographs and enjoy breathtaking views. The beach is also home to seagrass, where you might spot dugongs, also known as sea cows. Snorkeling in crystal clear waters and encountering a dugong is a memorable experience.
Kradang Beach, Koh Kradang
Kradang Beach on Koh Kradang's island is often called the epitome of paradise. Its crystal-clear waters, and white golden sands offer a textbook tropical paradise experience. Accessible by speed boat from the mainland, it's a perfect beach for relaxation and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.
Maya Bay, Phi Phi Islands
Maya Bay, located in the province of Krabi, gained fame from the movie "The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Although it has been closed for several years to protect its natural beauty, it remains a must-visit destination. The beach is home to diverse wildlife, including baby nurse sharks. Visitors are not allowed to swim in the sea to preserve the ecosystem, but the stunning beauty of Maya Bay is worth experiencing.
Elaine Beach, Chiang Pao
Elaine Beach, located in the province of Chiang Pao, is a personal favorite of mine because I lived there for three years. It offers a unique local beach experience with delicious seafood and a laid-back atmosphere. Elaine Beach is an excellent choice if you're looking for a quieter beach that's not too crowded.
These are just a few of the many beautiful beaches in Thailand. Each beach offers its unique charm and attractions. If you plan a trip to Thailand, check out these stunning beaches and make unforgettable memories.

Top 10 Beautiful Beaches in Thailand
The rainy season creates beautiful rainbows at one of my favorite beaches, making it one of the top 10 beaches in Thailand.
Crystal Bay
Located in Koh Samui, Crystal Bay, also known as Silver Bay, offers crystal-clear waters, beautiful rock systems, and the opportunity to rent kayaks. It is a hidden gem with a fantastic community of local expats.
Abandoned Beach
Ko Kam, an island in Trat Province, is home to the Abandoned Beach. This beach features unique black rocks contrasting crystal clear waters and white sand. Although an abandoned five-star resort exists, staff maintain the beach selling drinks. It is a day-visit beach with no accommodation options.
Paradise Beach
Ko Y, another island in Trat Province, is home to Paradise Beach. This beach offers stunning crystal-clear waters and wooden beach huts for accommodation. A famous place on the beach is known for its scenic beauty, but it books up months in advance.
